Open to NATURAL Amateur athletes who hold a current NGA card, or a card may be renewed at competitor check-in Saturday, 4/17/10. If you are a current member, please bring your membership card. IF not a member or and expired member, you can join online at www.nationalgym.com.

Competitor check-in and weigh-in will begin Saturday, April 17 at 7:30 am. You will receive your competitor’s packet, shirt and goodie bag from sponsors. Please bring your polygraph receipt and NGA membership card to check-in. If you do not have a current NGA membership you can join online at www.nationalgym.com or at check-in. After check-in on Saturday morning, there will be a mandatory competitor’s meeting and pre-judging will begin at 9:00 am. Evening finals will begin at 5:30 pm.
ENTRY FEE:Amateur/Figure
$50 entry fee for Contestants entering ON or BEFORE 4/3/10
$25 crossover fee (to add a second class)
$45 polygraph test fee. (Will be added to the contestant online entry form)
$75 entry fee entering ON or AFTER 4/4/10.
Entry Fee Includes PRE-JUDGING & NIGHT SHOW.
All amateur contestants will be introduced to the audience at the evening show.
Novice competitors cannot cross over into the open weight divisions.

Payment must include entry fee AND polygraph fee and be received by April 3, 2010 to avoid a $20 late entry fee.
NOVICE
Means a competitor that has NOT placed in the top 3 in an open division in any organization and that has not won 1st place in a novice division in any organization. A NOVICE can not cross over to the OPEN division and vice versa. A master, teen, or couple can crossover into the novice or open, but not both. This does not apply to Figure contestants.
MUSIC
BODYBUILDING - 60 seconds STRICKTLY ENFORCED on CD clearly marked with your name must be turned in at competitor check-in. If your music is longer than 60 seconds, the music technician has the right to stop the CD regarless of whether your routine is finished or not. PLEASE DO NOT USE MUSIC WITH PROFANITY as you will be disqualified.
ATTIRE
BODYBUILDING: Men – Solid color suits for pre-judging and no jewelry (except wedding rings). Jewelry, decorated suits and props (must be approved prior to competition) will be allowed at evening finals. If time dicatates, only the top 5 in each class will pose at the evening finals. Women – Two piece (may be connected) of solid color.
FIGURE:
Swimsuits - Because of the NGA’s 2009 rule change competitors will only be judged in a two-piece suit and heels. Jewelry, hair ornaments, and body glitter will be allowed during all rounds of pre-judging. Two-piece suits may be connected. The competitor may utilize any style they choose as long as it is within good taste. No thongs permitted. No oil may be used. Sheen is okay. The promoter and or NGA regional chairperson has the right to ban any swimsuit that is not within good taste. The swimsuit should enhance the competitor’s look.
